Those interested in participating in this route, which will start from the dirt parking area of Santa Agnès, must have experience in “long-distance hiking” and “good physical fitness”
Ibiza Hikes Station celebrates on Sunday, 10th December, “Hike to Clean & Help IFCC”, a charity hike in support of the Association Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer (IFCC), with the aim of “supporting the work of this local NGO, which seeks to improve the quality of life of cancer patients in the Pityusic Islands,” explained the founder of Ibiza Hikes Station, Manuel Ehrensperger. The hike will start at 10:00 hours from the dirt parking area of Santa Agnès de Corona. The initiative’s goal is also to “clean one of the most unknown and hard-to-reach mountain areas of the island,” hence the organizers emphasize the need for participants to have “experience in long hikes“, as well as “good physical fitness” and be “capable of walking, at least for an hour, with a full bag of rubbish.” The Sant Antoni de Portmany Town Hall will collaborate by providing bags and gloves and removing the rubbish through the municipal waste collection service. The hike, of high difficulty and lasting the entire morning, will also feature the participation of the Councillor for Environment, Beaches, Cleaning and Animal Welfare of Sant Antoni de Portmany, Pepita Torres. Those interested in collaborating in this initiative can do so by calling 648 182 989 and making a donation starting from 10 euros.
Ibiza Hikes Station recommends bringing good sports footwear, sun protection, rain protection, water, and some snacks or fruit. Pets and children’s attendance are not allowed. “With this hike, we want to promote a healthy lifestyle, discover new enclaves of the island of Ibiza and clean some of the hard-to-reach coastal areas,” Manuel Ehrensperger clarified, who added that he created Ibiza Hikes Station “as a therapy to combat stress and a sedentary lifestyle.” “Good habits, exercise, and proper nutrition are necessary to combat any disease,” he emphasized.

‘Stronger Together’ is the title of this year’s event hosted by Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza as part of their Pinktober® initiative, a breast cancer awareness campaign promoted by the Hard Rock International group. This year, they’re proposing a sports day in support of the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association, IFCC. The entry donation for this event, running from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday, 21st October, is 10 euros per person and includes a ticket for the charity raffle that will take place after the activities conclude. All proceeds will go directly to this Pitiusan NGO, and registrations can be made via the Hard Rock and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza websites.
The psychologist, coach, and personal trainer, Nieves Bolós, will kick off the day with a masterclass. Attendees can purchase as many tickets as they wish throughout the day at a cost of one euro each.

The 39,290, to which IFCC has been subscribed for years, is selling out in record time, giving way to another “magical” number: 36,788, which they hope will “bring luck”
On the occasion of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day on 19th October, this Pitiusan NGO will set up an information table at the Can Misses Hospital
The Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association (IFCC) today launches a Christmas Lottery ticket with a new charitable number in honour of Helen Watson, the former president of this Association. As the usual numbers sold annually by this Pitiusan NGO are selling out at a record pace, IFCC has decided to release another charitable ticket to the market, which will start being sold this week in Ibiza. The new charitable cancer ticket number is 36,788.
From IFCC, they hope that “just as the always “magical” and charitable number, which in the last three years has brought joy to all the charitable individuals who purchased it with one and two refunds, respectively,” as recalled by the vice president of IFCC, Berno Kiberd.
Last Christmas, IFCC distributed 218,400 euros in the Pitiusas during the Christmas Lottery draw, after selling 1,820 tickets of the number 39,290, which won 120 euros per ticket. It is precisely the tickets with that same number that are selling out these days, more than two months before the draw takes place.
Furthermore, in commemoration of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, which will take place this Thursday, 19th October, IFCC will have an information table at the Can Misses Hospital (Building D), aiming to raise awareness, inform, and sensitise society about this disease.
This charitable event returns to the Cloister of the Dominican Convent of the Ibiza Town Hall with three concerts, from August 25 to 27 at 9:00 p.m., under the direction of this renowned violinist
Renowned violinist Linus Roth will pay tribute to the president of Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer, Helen Watson, at the 5th Edition of the International Festival ‘Ibiza Concerts’ to honor her selfless and tireless work at the head of this association, fighting to improve the care of cancer patients in the Pityusic Islands, as well as the prevention and early detection of all types of tumors. This festival will feature three charity concerts, which will be held in the Cloister of the Dominican Convent of the Ibiza Town Hall, in Dalt Vila at 9:00 p.m. The entire proceeds from the tickets, with a donation price of 25 euros per adult and 10 euros for children under 14, will go to the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association, IFCC.
“Helen Watson was a great person, and I think the best way to remember her and to show how important she was to Ibiza is by performing a song in her honor,” Linus Roth has advanced.
The first concert will take place on August 25 under the title ‘Do You Love Brahms?’, with performances by Linus Roth and Marta Gallego on violin, Jennifer Stumm on viola, Raphaela Gromes on cello, and Sophie Pacini on piano. The following day, August 26, will be the turn of ‘Fandango’, a session in which Petrit Çeku will join on guitar, along with this repertoire of artists. The last day, corresponding to August 27, this international music meeting will be closed with the concert “The Four Seasons”, paying tribute to the illustrious composer Antonio Vivaldi, in a particular duet performed by Linus Roth on violin and Petrit Çeku on guitar, as a golden brooch to three days in which music and solidarity will be the protagonists.

This event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will extend until 1:00 p.m. at the Parque de la Paz in Ibiza where 7 euros will be donated for each haircut
This Sunday, May 21, the initiative ‘Solidarity Hairdressers‘ comes back to life, celebrating its tenth edition at the Parque de la Paz in Ibiza. This day, organized by the Es Clot Neighborhood Association and directed by Pérez Hairdresser, will start at 10:00 a.m. and extend until 1:00 p.m., thanks to the participation of different hairdressers on the island who will provide their services for only 7 euros per haircut. All proceeds from this event will go to the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association, IFCC.
Likewise, this gathering will feature an information stand from the Association and music to liven up the day, playing while the hairdressers cut hair for all those who are encouraged to attend. “It’s an event that each year has many participants, not only because of the charitable nature of this day, but also because the hairdressers who join this initiative are true professionals,” states IFCC President, Helen Watson, who wanted to thank the Es Clot Neighborhood Association and Pérez Hairdresser for choosing IFCC once again as the beneficiary of this action. Watson has reminded that “spots are limited”.
In this edition, in addition to Pérez Hairdresser’s contribution as the director of this initiative, PostQuam Professional, Barber Shop Ibiza, and Patricia Clapés, among other professionals, are participating.
In the past edition, this meeting had more than 200 visitors thanks to the effort of the hairdressers, volunteers, and workers of the Ibiza Town Hall, who were in charge of the assembly, and who this year will return to make the tenth edition of ‘Solidarity Hairdressers’ a reality in which its organizers hope that “so many people will attend”.
