Golf Ibiza celebrates on Saturday, 11th May, starting at 8:30 AM, the third Annual Charity Golf Tournament for the benefit of the Ibiza and Formentera against Cancer Association, IFCC, which, in tribute to Helen Watson, who was its president for more than a decade, is renamed the Helen Watson Memorial Tournament. Registrations for this event, sponsored by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa and the Santa Eulària des Riu Town Hall, can be made through a form available on the IFCC website or at the Golf Ibiza facilities, priced at 50 euros for members and 75 euros for other participants. This tournament will feature five major prizes divided into three categories: A and B, with a first and second prize; and Scratch, with a single award, all of them donated by charitable companies on the island.
Upon completion of the tournament, around 3:00 PM, the trophy presentation will take place for the five categories of this event, as well as two special prizes: for the longest drive (in both male and female sections) and for the ball that lands closest to the flag.
Subsequently, a raffle will be held in which both tournament players and their family members can participate by purchasing a ticket for the price of five euros. The winning numbers will be published on the IFCC website and Facebook page. Winners of the various tournament categories, as well as the raffle, will take home vouchers to enjoy gastronomic experiences, beauty and wellness treatments, jewellery, and many other surprises donated by renowned charitable brands on the island, who did not want to miss the opportunity to collaborate in this sports event in support of the Ibiza and Formentera against Cancer Association. The winners of the draw whose prizes are not claimed will be published on the IFCC website.
The Hyde & Mondrian hotels, opening this year in Cala Llonga, will provide golfers with refreshments and snacks during the tournament via food trucks and will offer attendees drinks and appetisers, as well as a paella, during the prize-giving.
