‘Stronger Together’ is the title of this year’s event hosted by Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza as part of their Pinktober® initiative, a breast cancer awareness campaign promoted by the Hard Rock International group. This year, they’re proposing a sports day in support of the Ibiza and Formentera Against Cancer Association, IFCC. The entry donation for this event, running from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday, 21st October, is 10 euros per person and includes a ticket for the charity raffle that will take place after the activities conclude. All proceeds will go directly to this Pitiusan NGO, and registrations can be made via the Hard Rock and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza websites.
The psychologist, coach, and personal trainer, Nieves Bolós, will kick off the day with a masterclass. This renowned fitness influencer, specialising in nutrition and body recomposition, will guide attendees through a sports session drawn from her training and coaching programmes. These programmes aim to help individuals achieve their goals in a “healthy and unrestricted” manner, as reported by the event organisers. Following this, the Bfit Ibiza Sports Club will offer a Total Body Conditioning session. The sports activities will conclude with a stretching and “cool-down” session led by the professionals from OWN Fitness Studio, the team of personal trainers from Body Rock®, the gym at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.
The charity raffle, which this year will give away two pink guitars, one acoustic and one electric, as well as a three-month pass to the Body Rock® gym, will be the crowning touch to this charitable event. Attendees can purchase as many tickets as they wish throughout the day at a cost of one euro each.
Furthermore, in the dining areas of Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, limited edition pink cocktails will be on offer, along with a special dessert, the pink cheesecake from TATEL Ibiza. For this occasion, the hotel also features pink Balinese beds around its pools.
All the money raised will also be donated to IFCC, which has been supporting cancer patients in Ibiza and Formentera for 22 years. This support includes funding treatments, providing medical supplies for the Can Misses Hospital, covering services not reached by the Social Security in the Pitiusas, and designing and printing informational brochures and materials for prevention against this disease.
